Brown Compactors are for HOUSEHOLD TRASH ONLY! Brown compactors are the only container for household trash. This is trash that comes from every day activity in your home. DO NOT place large miscellaneous items in the compactors! DO NOT place any construction waste, oil, appliances, or furniture in the compactors! There are designated areas for those items in the yard.

No household trash is allowed in the open top containers or in any recycling container!!

Bright Green Compactor is for CARDBOARD ONLY:

• Clean corrugated cardboard is the only acceptable item.

• No wrapping, packing or styrofoam inside.

• NO PIZZA BOXES.

• Please flatten cardboard boxes.

There are special areas (available Monday-Friday: 7:30-4:30) marked inside the Public Works Yard for disposal of:

• Paint, Tires, Oil, Metal, Batteries, & Yard Waste

• Household Appliances (Should be placed in the open top labeled for metal)

  INDIVIDUALS FOUND DUMPING ILLEGALLY INSIDE THE VILLAGE LIMITS MAY BE FINED UP TO $1000.00 PER INCIDENT. ILLEGAL DUMPING INCLUDES THE IMPROPER DUMPING OF TRASH AND RECYCLABLES ON PRIVATE PROPERTY, PUBLIC PROPERTY, IN AND AROUND THE PUBLIC WORKS YARD AND CONVENIENCE STATION AREA.

  INDIVIDUALS FOUND TO CAUSE THE CONTAMINATION OF THE RECYCLING DUMPSTERS, RECYCLING COMPACTORS AND RECYCLING RECEPTACLES WITH HOUSEHOLD TRASH MAY BE FINED $325.00 PER INCIDENT.
